The study employs a variety of experimental methods such as protein pulldown, mass spectrometry, co-immunoprecipitation, and fluorescence confocal microscopy to explore the lipoprotein LprG affects the host's immune defense by interacting with the host protein PPIA and disrupting the cytokine production pathway. Additiionally, It explores the novel discovery of LprG's phase separation behavior within host cells, which may lead to the dysfunction of host proteins such as PPIA. Understanding these interactions provides insights into potential therapeutic targets to enhance host immune response and effectively combat tuberculosis.
