Activities
Research Center for Asian Infectious Diseases (RCAID) is operated by the project: Studies to Control Emerging, Re-emerging and Imported Infectious Diseases to Be Conducted in International Collaboration Sites in China, supported by Japan Program for Infectious Diseases Research and Infrastructure from the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED). RCAID established and manages a joint laboratory in collaboration with the Institute of Microbiology (IM), which belong to the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and also conducts a collaborative research program at the Harbin Veterinary Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. These activities in Beijing and Harbin are supported by the Beijing Project Office (BPO).
