China-Japan Collaboration Site
Research Center for Asian Infectious Diseases (RCAID) is operated by the project: China-Japan Research Collaboration on Defense against Emerging and Reemerging Infections, supported by Japan Initiative for Global Research Network on Infectious Diseases (J-GRID) from the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED). RCAID established and manages two joint laboratories in collaboration with the Institute of Biophysics (IBP) and Institute of Microbiology (IM), which belong to the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and also conducts a collaborative research program at the Harbin Veterinary Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. These activities in Beijing and Harbin are supported by the Beijing Project Office (BPO).
