Malgorzata Borowiak graduated in Biotechnology from Adam Mickiewicz University
in Poznan, Poland and at the moment is a third year PhD student at ENS
Lyon. She is currently involved in the studies on the telomere biology
upon Human T-cell Leukemia Virus infection. She is particularly interested
in the mechanism of telomerase reactivation by viral HBZ protein and its
interplay with tumor suppressors keeping the telomerase expression silent
in non-cancerous cells. |
