Keiichi Ito is a PhD. student working on Stem cell and developmental biology. He first met the field of regenerative medicine during his physiotherapy in the football team that he belonged to. Since then, he decided to become a researcher in the field of regenerative medicine. He graduated the Agricultural Dept. of Todai in 2008 and now is in his PhD.course. Besides having the idea of clinical applications in mind, he now has a strong interest in basic research and biology. JSPS research fellow from 2011.
