The docking domain of histone H2A is required for H1 binding and RSC-mediated nucleosomes remodelling

Specialized Field:
Chromatin Dynamics and DNA repair

I am currently a PhD student under the guidance of Dr Stefan Dimitrov and Dr Anguelov Dimitar.Chromatin Biochemistry has always been an intriguing field with loads of questions yet to be answered.I am currently working on how Histone chaperones interact with nucleosomes unravelling the mystery of how they function in a nucleosome environment.Another important question that we are looking into is how transcription factors like NF-kB bind on the nucleosomes. From DNA nanoformulations(Nano curcumin) in my masters to the wrapping of histone proteins in nucleosomes, I can confidently say that DNA and everything that revolves around it has become my passion. I love to doodle caricatures and am into sketching and photography. I also like to read comics and am a die hard fan of animation movies.
Catch-Phrase: DNAs got the curve !!!
