Stem cell research has been a focus of attention as medicine of the 21st century replacing artificial organs and organ transplantation therapy, and also has a strong impact on the research field of cancer and other diseases. Center for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine was launched as a core research center for stem cell-based medicine. The Center aims to translate research outcomes of stem cell biology into pre-clinical and clinical studies, and also to innovation of therapeutic approaches to cancer and various diseases.
