The Division of Stem Cell Regulation was established by Amgen Ltd. in 1995.

In April 2003, the Laboratory was reorganized and Dr. Ryuichi Nishinakamura became the head of the Laboratory.

Ryuichi Nishinakamura is now a professor at Institute of Molecular Embryology and Genetics, Kumamoto University and a visiting professor at Tokyo University. We will set up the lab at Kumamoto University within 2004.
