On May 18, 2018, five visitors led by Deputy Director Ming Sun, Bureau of Science and Technology Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences visited IMSUT.
They first visited
the Medical Science Museum, and then visited the DNA storage, serum storage and
tissue storage facility of BioBank Japan and learned about its operation from Prof.
Koichi Matsuda. After that, they received a warm welcome from the IMSUT
Dean, Prof. Yoshinori Murakami, Vice Dean Prof. Yasushi Kawaguchi, Project Profs.
Mitsue Hayashi and Zene Matsuda, and Project Senior Assistant Professor Jin Gohda.
An overview of IMSUT was presented, and they discussed future research collaboration
and cooperation between CAS and IMSUT.
