OOn February 22, 2018 a get-together of students and researchers from overseas was held at the Medical Science Museum, IMSUT. There were 24 participants: 12 IMSUT students, 5 researchers from overseas, and the remainder composed of IMSUT professors and staff members.
Prof. Sumiko Watanabe, chair of the International Exchange Committee, made a welcoming speech and toast. Students, researchers and professors introduced themselves using slides. There were many recommendations about their daily life, books, food, restaurants, movies, “anime”, and nice places to visit, etc. Participants greatly enjoyed the presentations.
Two hours went by quickly with food and drinks of the restaurant Ciao Bella attached to the museum. Participants exchanged their email addresses.
This party may help boost networking of foreign students and researchers within IMSUT.
